ANSYS Customer Portal
ANSYS Customer Portal (https://www1.ansys.com/customer/default.asp) is a portal developed and maintained for ANSYS users worldwide. In the Customer Portal users can find ANSYS software downloads, service packs, ANSYS tutorials, product information (including example applications, current and archived documentation, undocumented commands, input files, and product previews), FAQs as well as Known Issues and Limitations document. ANSYS users, no matter new or experienced, will benefit from visiting the Portal.
In order to get access to the Portal, first time users have to register to create password:
Below is a picture of what the register form looks like. Users must fill in the exact company information as saved in the ANSY database. This quite often causes confusion, as it is quite strict. For example, if postal code saved in ANSYS database is “NO-1234”, a user will get error message if he/she fills in “1234” or “NO 1234”. Such a mismatch is very difficult to detect. If you get problem to register, do not hesitate to contact us and we will help you to fix it.

With the help of ANSYS Download Center Wizard, we can download installation files easily in four steps:
Step 1: Choose download type
Step 2: Choose hardware platform. If you are not sure which Unix/Linux version you are using, there are helpful tips on the right hand side.
Step 3: Select ANSYS downloads.
If your network connection is board enough, we would like to recommend download Media Image, which contains all ANSYS products. The media image is iso-format. You can open it by a virtual deriver or burn it to a DVD.
Step 4: Download packages. Click on the corresponding links and downloading will start soon.
To download installation files is one of the main reasons to visit the Portal. But the Portal offers more than that and we all can find something useful in it.
