The ANSYS CFD Turbomachinery modeling course is a three-day course and consists of lectures and hands-on practical examples. This course is aimed at customers who want to learn more about efficient CFD modeling of turbomachinery.
You will learn how to use tools like ANSYS BladeModeler, ANSYS Turbogrid, and of course all the turbo specific tools within ANSYS CFX like TurboPre and TurboPost. The course also covers turbomachinery theory.
Agenda
You will learn more about the following modules:
BladeGen - initial sizing tool and blade design for a single stage.
DesignModeler - a CAD tool to generate fluid volume and to add additional features to blade, like fillets shroud covers, housings and volutes.
BladeEditor - DesignModeler add-on that provides seamless geometry connection between BladeGen and DesignModeler. Blade designs of multiple stages can be created at once.
TurboPre - an automated specialist mode allowing users to set up and define turbo machinery simulations in a simple manner.
CFX-solve - a state-of-the-art solver with possibility for high performance computing.
TurboPost – advanced post-processing of turbomachinery components, possibility for automatic report generation.
