FEM is a tool that helps engineers designing and developing their products. FEM is highly powerful and is able to solve many complicated real engineering problems. The theory of FEM is well-developed and abstruse; its applications can be mastered by every engineer.
This course intent to give guidance on how to apply the FEM for industrial applications. A brief presentation of history will give attendees a general description on practical background of FEM’s development. Some fundamental concepts will give attendees a glance of FEM and answer the question: what is FEM. Many practical topics will be discussed during the course. These topics are applicable to any FEM programs.
In conclusion, the course prepares new beginners to start their first FE analysis.
