Tekla Basic training

This training course will demonstrate how to create a 3D model of a building, number it and produce GA drawings and reports from the model with Tekla Structures. The training is divided into lessons, each of which covers a certain particular task of in the design process and introduces the commands and functions required to complete that particular task.

The training workflow is designed to resemble a real design project, and the training model is taken from a real building project.

This basic training course takes you through the following:

• How to set up project information, define part properties and numbering series(Norwegian environment) and use phases.
• How to create grids, grid views and structural members in the model.
• How to import references.
• How to work with and modify the catalogs. Make new profiles and materials.
• How to work with system components (predefined components).
• How to create your own detailed connections, and making them into your own Custom Components.
• How to work with premade select filters, and how to create your own select filters.
• How to make cast units and reinforce concrete elements.
• How to make a webviewer.
• Introduction to making reports and numbering your model.
• Introduction to General Arrangement(GA) drawings.
